Surrealist Found Readymade Objects: Witches Sitting on Pumpkins

The folowing pictures are of witches sitting on pumpkins, displaying a remarkable, culturally embedded pattern. These witch/pumpkin artefacts were advertised on the web, as cute, collectible commodities. This page (or its contents), cannot be considered an endorsement of the products shown in the photographs, and neither does it aspire to waste time critiquing the manifest functions of these surrealist found objects (such as decoration or entertainment value, for instance). It is the latent function(s) of such readymade and found objects which are of interest. Despite the ornamental, aesthetic appeal of these witches-sitting-on-pumpkins, they also just so happen to be surrealist readymade objects, found objects, which encapsulate the erotic energies of alchemical witchcraft.
